Since I can remember, I've always been surrounded by sewing. My mother is an excellent seamstress. Growing up, I've watched (and helped) her turn yards of fabric into dresses, jackets, pants, bags, and even stuffed animals.

This summer, I am determined to learn this trade from her. And would love to own these shears and thread cutter in the process.

I told her that I want to take up sewing and she needs to teach me. Her response:

"Before you learn how to sew, you must first learn how to fix."

I have been such a huge fan of Scout's Honor Co. for some time now, and they finally have an online shop! Annemarie's impeccable taste for old-school charm and vintage makes her unique line of stationery goods feel so nostalgic. Her use of bold, hand-drawn type and minimal colors bring such a classic yet refreshing touch to her work. Lovelovelove!!!

A few things I'm loving from Linea Carta by Diva Pyari. The shop name means "paper line" or "paper collection" in Italian.

Currently obsessed with Poketo. Everything is right up my alley.

I just added these bright and colorful days of summer pencils in my shop. Each set comes with six different colors and past times. They're so cheery and fun, and remind me of my childhood summer days.

Simple cards say it best, especially these adorable stationery by Kathryn Whyte. Her site is pretty darn cute, too.

Janie's Pretty Litttle Heart shop is filled with adorable vintage stamps and mailing accessories. It makes me miss having penpals to write letters to.

Just received these pencils in the mail last week, and they are so much fun. I love that they also add pops of color to my desk, and remind me of summer.

Now I just need a pencil sharpener...
