I design, make paper goods, and live in Seattle. One Fine Dae shares the many lovely things that I adore. I'm also a fan of Polaroids, Scrabble, classic movies, vintage, and sailboats. And Charlie Brown is my goofy little companion and unofficial paper shredder.
I'm on Instagram, Flickr, Twitter, and Pinterest.
And also read emails. So say hello, I'd love to hear from you.

Photos taken by me are free for you to use on your blog or Web site, but please credit and link back. That would be much appreciated, thanks!

Happy Leap Day!
This is my blog's first Leap Day post (hooray!).
Hope your day is extra special.
These photographs from violetjulia, taken in the rural Appalachian region of Virgina, make the world feel so mysterious and magical. And they remind me of this beloved movie.

I am so entranced by 11 / The Beautiful Game, a luxury foosball (football) table that's designed and hand-finished by European craftsmen. It's currently on my things-I-wish-to-buy-if-I-won-the-lottery list, because not only is it gorgeous, retail price is at a whopping 48,000 euros, or roughly $67k!
Doesn't Samantha French's illustrations of swimmers make you want to plunge right into the canvas? They look so refreshing and lively. Check out her blog to see more work.

Annnd here's to a new month. Happy September 1st everyone.
The talented Jamie of From Me To You perfectly captures the essence of summer in these gorgeous beach photos. Southampton, New York looks so quiet and peaceful. Which makes it that much more desirable. Oh, what I wouldn't give to have the beach all to myself right now. (Or sharing it with a few close friends wouldn't hurt either.)
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.

Twitterverse was passing around a link today that caught my attention. Fauxgo, a cool web site maintained by Tymn Armstrong, collects fake logos that exist only on film. Above are some of my favorites, with the majority designed by this awesome animation studio. Can you guess where they're from?
P.S. The site is a growing collection and takes contributions, so feel free to share if you spot something from the big screen.
Really drawn to these complex yet simple spirograph designs made from thread by q en bleu.
Beautiful, minimalistic and functional designs, by Your Nest Inspired.

My friend Long sent me a link to yesterday's Today Show, and the story just touches my heart. It's about a janitor named Tyrone Curry who won the state lottery of $3.4 million in 2006, but still continues to do what he loves each day for the past 34 years—being a janitor and coaching the Evergreen High School track and field team.
That was my high school y'all, and he was my janitor! Goodness, what an amazing hero.
Such endearing illustrations from Honey Cup.

Wow. This 4th of July holiday weekend really snuck up on me. I almost forgot about it, but so glad it's here. A busy, yet fun-filled weekend with lots of friends, old and new. Also excited to see glimpses of pretty sparkles lighting up the night sky. Those are always the best.
Have a great one guys!
