. . . . .
I was chatting with the lovely Angie not too long ago, and we both agreed that we only enjoy winter in Seattle during the holidays. After all the hustle and bustle, the cold and wet weather just becomes gloomy and sad. (Sorry Seattle, but 'tis true ya know.) Therefore, we hope that summer weather will come super early this year, because we were jaded in 2010.
Speaking of summer (I know, winter just started Linda, what are you thinking?!), wouldn't lounging around on these gorgeous, handmade, vintage deckchairs and footstools by Gallant & Jones be awesome? I've never really cared too much for lawn/deckchairs before, but these guys just look so handsome, and they really make me miss warm weather.
And by early, I'm crossing my fingers for May-ish, because sometimes summer weather doesn't hit us until early/mid July.
*Gasp* Really?!
Yes, really.

I don't mind thinking of summer a bit right now, especially if I can lounge in one of those cute chairs. I'm also considering making Seattle part of my cross country trip in June. I've never been and keep hearing such good things about it.
I am new to your blog and I think it's great. I live in Toronto Canada and we may have some pretty cold winters, but summers here are great. Especially last year!
ooh! I would love to have these when summer comes. (and I also vote for summer arriving early this year.)
come live in germany where you blink & summer's passed you by!
love those chairs ... such fun designs. & i'm loving they make stools now.
how a wonderful day! xx
